The City of Atascadero invites the community to attend an Open House event to review and provide input on the Draft General Plan Elements, preliminary zoning districts, and proposed land use regulations. The Open House will be held in the City Hall Foyer on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. This informal drop in event is a valuable opportunity for residents to meet one-on-one with staff and the consultant team to discuss the project and provide feedback before the Draft General Plan is finalized. Attendees are encouraged to review the Draft General Plan Elements on the project website, www.atascadero2045.org/
Following the Open House, a Planning Commission Hearing will be held at 6 PM in Council Chambers to discuss the Draft Plan. Additionally, the Plan will go to City Council for a formal hearing on Tuesday, October 28th at 6 pm.
