City Council General Plan Adoption Hearing

The City Council will hold a Public Hearing to consider the final adoption of the 2045 Atascadero General Plan Update on September 22, 2026.
The General Plan provides an integrated community vision and the general framework for all land use and zoning decisions within our community. Final adoption of the proposed General Plan culminates a five-year process that involved over 20 community workshops and ongoing refinements to create a guiding document that outlines community priorities and values to shape the future of our City through 2045.
